Aren't you glad not everyone stops work on Saturday? No fire fighters, no EMTs, no police, no doctors. No grocery stores, movies, filling stations, no bus drivers (no buses run in Israel), taxi drivers (only taxi drivers working on the Sabbath are not Jewish), pilots (do EL AL pilots fly on the Sabbath?), etc etc. Consider what would happen to America if EVERYONE did NOTHING from SUNDOWN FRIDAY TO SUNDOWN SATURDAY (that is the Sabbath).
Which of the 10 Commandments do YOU ignore?
The sabbath was made for MAN. Man wasn't made for the sabbath. Ponder that one.

It is unfortunate that people have forgotten the 10 Commandments. We have made graven images for ourselves, without even knowing it. We worship wealth, possessions, and power. We do not always teach our children the gospel. We use the Lord's name in vain frequently. Many people do not keep the sabbath day holy. You see people shopping, golfing, watching ball games, etc., on the sabbath.

The list goes on. People manage to break every commandment on a daily basis, and they don't think twice about it.

I know that I do not always keep every commandment, but every day I strive to do the best that I can. I raised up my children in my religion. I read to them from the Bible daily, I took them to Church weekly, and I did my best to teach them to love the Lord.

no I do not take the lords name in vain. but when you ask a question about the en commandment, or the bible, you really should tell what that commandment, or scripture is, not everyone knows.

Christ fulfilled the Mosaic law by obeying them. He left us 2 new commandments:
Love your neighbor as yourself and more importantly, Love God.

WARNING: JEWISH GUILT APPROACHING

I would be better if I did, but I don't. I shouldn't make excuses, but I just find it too difficult to do (he says after spending Shabbos on a plane from Cyprus).
