If I said... "usted me hace tan caliente"?

would my spanish boyfriend laugh at me, because "caliente" means hot temperature-wise.

"usted me hace tan caliente" = "you make me feel hot"

You wouldn´t say

usted me hace tan caliente

first because if he is your boyfriend you don´t talk to him wiht the formal usted but the informal tú

second the construction is wrong
you would say either
me pones caliente
or
me haces sentir caliente

I don't think he would laugh. It basically means "you turn me on".
