It hurts me so much, not because they are criticizing me, but because it's sad what their fate is, and I feel bad that I can't make them understand. It's sad the God was merciful and loving enough to come to our limited, restricted, sin filled world just to resist all our temptations, be perfect and die a horrible death, and now over half the future world mocks him. I wish I could show them the truth. Does it make you sad too?:-(

Moriaes, I didn't say I'm hurt because someone doesn't agree with me, I said that it makes me sad that I can't make everyone realize they are going to HELL, which is a real place.

Roberta, I am not "flaunting" anything. God says the ROCKS will cry out with praise if we don't. Read your bible, you are the one who sounds nasty.

Pirate00, it is exclusionary; when you reject God and his word, then you are doing just that: rejecting him, which means he's not your God.

Yes, it does hurt, because we love our God.
In Matthew chapter 5 it says
Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you
and say all manner of evil things against you for my sake.
Rejoice and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in Heaven, and they persecuted the prophets which went before you.
The Lord bless you

Hello Babs,
You are right. It does hurt to read the negative remarks that people make. However, I have learned to consider the source of where the remarks are really coming from. The people making the nagative remarks have a heart problem (dealing with their relationship with God) and the reason that the remarks are negative, are because the are not Christians and I just pray for them, and I still witness to them in love. I leave the rest of the work up to the Holy Spirit. If the person is meant to change, then it is the Holy Spirit that the will draw them to God. Besides, once we plant the seed, you never know, God may have someone else already picked out down the road. We just need to do our part and leave the rest up to God.

I agree totally! This definitely makes me sad! The only thing we can do as Christians is pray for these people that they come to a better understanding of who God is! Remember what Jesus went through on the cross? Just keep on loving people no matter what! God did and always will!

I understand totally. I so wish that I could take every one of them into my arms and show them the real love and peace that is only to be had through Christ.
I'm so sorry if that seems "arrogant"...it really isn't. Actually, to be a Christian means to admit that we can't possibly do anything to save ourselves. It is to admit that we are disgusting sinners in the sight of God. It is to acknowledge our desperate need of a Savior. It is to become a servant....
Oh, if only I could communicate the great love that is Jesus Christ!!

i admire what you attempt to declare right here yet i won't be able to pass alongside with the analogy. The Holy Spirit enters our bodies no longer the soul of believers. And He does not course by using us as blood by using our veins. I see it greater like the Holy Spirit taking over residency interior of a house (or temple which we are) and setting up house time-honored jobs. The greater we enable Him to do His job the greater advantageous we are for it. The cleanser He makes us the greater advantageous we represent the owner which will make us greater desireable to others. each so often analogies help and each so often they preclude. multiple human beings while witnessing will ask yet another, "would you want to ask Jesus into your coronary heart." this may even make youthful little ones ask ... Will He greater healthful? and adults ... is this individual whacked out? often times i've got considered little ones disturbing by ability of the possibility of Jesus attempting to get of their coronary heart. i think of we ought to truly evaluate the connotation of ways any anaolgy we use will impact the hearer.

Yes because I don't like to see God disrespected. It's ok to not follow God and to still be respectful of Him.
It also makes me sad that they mock Him. Just like they did when He was crucified. His longsufferingness amazes me. Because He hears it all yet does nothing. His love amazes me because even though they mock Him, He still loves them.
I guess it's like dating a bad boy. You see so much potential in them and they treat you sooo bad but you love them anyway. No matter what, you love them. That's the difference between me and God, He loves unconditionally. Me, no way I could remain silent and put up with it for this long.
God is a lot better than me.

Yes it hurts but you can't lead a horse to water and make him drink but what you can do is spread the word of god and hope that you help someone to believe

Yes, it does hurt me when people mock and blaspheme God and Jesus. Our loving and compassionate Christ died for everyone's sins, and so much of the time, all He receives is ingratitude and hatred.
And the thought of someone suffering eternally in Hell makes me sick. The blasphemers and mockers are laughing now, but they won't be when they die and stand before the God that they rejected. And by that time, it's too late for them to repent and accept Christ.
That's why we need to agree together in prayer for the salvation of those that we love and for non-believers everywhere. They're blinded by the god of this world to the things of eternity, and they will be lost unless the Holy Spirit convicts them of their sin.

Yes it does. And I spend time in prayer for them...Sometimes that's all I can do. Other times He gives wisdom for what to say and we are to plant and water seeds. God is the one that gives the increase. His Love is so awesome and incredible I want to share it with everyone but some people aren't ready to hear it yet.
