My hair is very thin, but also VERY frizzy without styling. The only way I've been able to tame it is by straightening it. The problem is, it's very limp and thin when I finish. I've tried many volumizing products (mostly hairsprays), but they always make my hair feel very oily. This is because I already have some product in my hair from the straightening process - otherwise I'll have a lot of breakage from the heat styling. Does anybody out there have a better solution?

Redken's Smooth is very good at both smoothing damaged hair and volumizing the rest. Use the shampoo and the conditioner. Another one that is actually quite fine and smells fantastic, is Bath and Body Works Jasmine Vanilla aroma-therapy scented Volumizing shampoo and conditioner. (Dark red bottles) Very nice products. Very happy with the Redken products which can be found at many hair stylists salons.

Use Sunsilk Anti-Flat Volumizing Creme (in the yellow bottle). I've tried a ton of drugstore and salon products and this is the best ever. It makes your hair super full and soft, but not greasy or sticky at all.

Pantene's extra body conditioner is the best product I've used for my straight hair. (purple band)

I agree with the Pantene (purple) conditioner...and please please please don't put any other product on after you wash it off. Just dry it~ head down and fluffing with free hand~ and then...here's the best part...AQUA NET (purple) hairspray to finish it off. (EVERY modern hairspray I have ever used is too heavy for my hair.) Good luck, "hair-challenged-sista"
