Of course! As does any one who receives Jesus.
John 1:12-13
12 But to all who believed him [Jesus] and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. 13 They are reborn! This is not a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan — this rebirth comes from God. (NLT)

jesus will come into whosoever will open the door to Him. Don't put restrictions on Him though. don't say, I want you to be my saviuor but not my Lord. Open your whole heart to Him not just a small little portion. Don't treat him like a stranger let him go into every room of your heart.

Jesus didn't die on the cross as a sacrifice for the perfect person. No one is perfect. He died to take the place for us, the sinners. His sacrifice is so pure that it will cleanse even the darkest sin. Jesus knows how tricky Satan is, he will forgive you and forget your past.

Well, of course, they do! Jesus will NEVER turn away any sinner who is sincerely seeking Him! That is His promise...
Oh, and btw, Paul was forgiven...and he dragged Christians from their homes and had them put to death. That is the measure of Christ's forgiveness!!
