God didn't heal you. The physicians in the hospital helped you get better and you healed yourself.
You have life, strength and health because your parents managed to get you through infancy without dropping you on your head.
If he gave you wisdom, you wouldn't believe in him/it/her.
There is no lake of fire -- and Satan is just a gimmick to get people to put more money in the collection plate.
You have air to breathe and water to drink because you live on a planet that has both.
You have clothes and shoes to wear because you live in a civilization where these things are practically required. There are cultures on this planet that don't wear either one.
You do not have four cats. Four cats live with you. No one owns cats. (I have a cat that lives with me and lets me think I'm the master).
You go to college because you're an otherwise intelligent person who planned well.

The trouble with that kind of argument is that you also have to believe that he gives life, health and strength to child molesters... that he gives intelligence and practical knowledge to mass murderers who get away with it time and time again... that he feeds and waters rapists and torturers... that he makes people rich who exploit, persecute and oppress other people. Good (and bad) things happen to good and bad people alike. This is *exactly* what you would expect to happen if no gods actually existed. If a benevolent god really existed, we would not expect the world to be as it is.

Did he bless you with getting sick and almost becoming a vegetable?
How do you know he healed you, and not some other god, or Satan?
How do you even know there is a Satan and a "lake of fire" to be saved from?
and come on.......4 cats? Didn't you just buy those yourself? Or if they came to your house stray, well, cats just do that.

Don't listen to the negativity.
God gave me the ultimate gift....his son Jesus's blood to buy my salvation and forgiveness.
Need I say more?
And to Darkling who said,
"when i was a kid and i still believed in him and i was being abused for all those years and tried to get him to help me. he ignored me. So man... he ain't done sh** for me lately "
I am so sorry for your years of suffering, he did not ignore you, he was with you all the time-you are a survivor!!! He is waiting to heal you, he just wants you to call on him. There is no wound to deep for him to heal, and I speak from going thru the same type of situation, God wants us to draw near him, perhaps your misery and pain will be healed by the ultimate healer, I will pray for your peace and healing.

Before I converted to Christianity, I believed life had no meaning. But because of God and His love to me, I converted and I now know that there is a meaning and purpose in my life.

Seems like you don't give enough credit to yourself and to your doctors.
From the examples you listed then anything can be attributed to god, whether it's good or bad. How about getting crabs or winning the lotto. According to you, god did it.

I'm sorry you were unwell and in hospital and pleased you are ok now, however it is thanks to the Dr's and nurses who cared for you. Do you not give them any credit?
The other things, well make of them what you will. It"s your choice.
