Avoid tanning beds at all costs! They are more dangerous for your skin than the sun is! You obviously know that by burning your skin, you have already caused significant damage to your skin. Even tanning, you are causing damage to your skin. If I were you, I would take that as a sign and stay away from the tanning beds.

i would wait at least two weeks. if you have fair skin, start out at 2 or 3 minutes in the bed, (remember to ALWAYS use lotion) and after a week or so at 3 minutes without burning, it should be ok to go up to 5 minutes. increase it 2 minutes every week to prevent burning again. tanning beds arent the safest way to tan, especially if you have fair skin. to help the burn you have now, try a warm shower. it helps the pores in your skin to relax, helping the heat in your skin to excape. i wouldnt recommend using lotion, alot of times it just irritates burnt skin. try some aloe vera gel, or you can buy it in a spray, if it hurts to touch your skin. i hope it gets better! be a little more careful next time!

Tanning is bad for your skin. I would not go back if I were you. But if you feel compelled to go back, you should wait until your sunburn is completely healed. Wait at least 2-4 weeks.
