i think you have to catch yourself, "God" will be there to grab your hand when you reach out.

But the Bible says we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. There would be an awful lot of catching going on, especially in this world today. Having said that though...
I don't think anyone is there to "catch" someone when they fall; however those who believe that Christ is their Savior have the option of going to the Father through Christ and asking him (Jesus) to advocate on their behalf and ask for forgiveness, which is promised (as is salvation) through the death and resurrection of Jesus.
For the record... I'm not a Christian. ;-)

You can never fall so far that you are out of God's grace. This does not mean there are no consequences, however our salvation was purchased by Jesus blood, we can never be good enough on our own.
God is a loving and forgiving father: ask and it will be given.
You don't earn god's forgiveness, you accept the gift of his son..."No one comes to the Father but thru the son"
sin is sin there is nothing to big that grace and forgiveness won't be given

I fell from grace a long time ago and I had my husband there to catch me. Plus all my dogs and cats. They are awesome.
