Strawberry or Grape?

Of those two choices- Grape. But my actual favorites are orangemarmalade and cherry. Here are a couple of recipes to enjoy with your jam-

British Scones
Ingredients
2 1/2 to 3 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cups raisins
1/2 cup currants or candied fruit
1 cup sour milk

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425F.
2. Combine 2 1/2 cups flour, sugar, cream of tartar, baking soda and baking powder in a medium bowl. Cut in softened butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Add raisins and currants, mixing until fruit is coated with the flour mixture.
3. Add sour milk and mix well.
4. Turn onto a floured board and knead, adding enough extra flour to make a slightly stiff dough. Pat to about 3/4-inch thickness and cut with a 2-inch round cutter. Place scones on cookie sheet and bake 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm or cold.
Note: To sour milk, add 1 tablespoon lemon juice to 1 cup milk. Let stand 15 minutes.





Corny Quiche
Ingredients
1 cup corn muffin mix
3 cups thinly sliced zucchini
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs, well-beaten
1 cup salad dressing (regular or low fat)
Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 10-inch pie pan or quiche pan. Mix the muffin mix, zucchini, onion, cheese, oil, eggs, dressing, and salt and pepper together in a large mixing bowl. When well blended, pour into the prepared pan. Bake for 45 minutes, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

I LOVE Smucker's brand of Strawberry preserves,especially on homemade bread after it comes out of the oven,or on top of buttermilk biscuits,YUMMY!! ;-)
