A nice salad with veggies and salad dressing of choice on the side.
Fresh fruit salad (Strawberries,apples,oranges,pineapple,etc chopped up and mixed together to make a nice fruit salad) Just don't forget to squeeze A LITTLE BIT of lemon juice over the cut up fruit,so it doesn't turn a dark brown color.
Buttermilk Biscuits
Cornbread

The only thing that will rock your socks with potato soup IS a toasted bacon and tomato with a little mayo. Ymmm

We just have the potato soup with crumbled bacon and grated cheddar cheese. Then we have a yummy dessert, like strawberry shortcake!

MAke you some green bean cassrole and rolls. ANd for dessert make some mini pies easy to make. Just get some small graham pie shells and your favorite pussing and make the pudding and put in pie shell .Then if you want put whip cream on top or fruit on top of whip cream. Or even better get some fruit pie filling.

I don't know what goes with it on the side, but shredded cheese, or bacon bits, or croutons sure would be good as a topping. A nice french bread would be good as a side.

Hungarian Cucumber Salad
Recipe Created By: Robbie
Prep. Time: 2:15
Serves: 8 - 10
2 lrg. waxed cucumbers - sliced thin
2 tsp. salt
3 Tbls. apple cider vinegar OR distilled white vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1 clove garlic - minced
1 med. white onion - chopped
1 cup sour cream - low-fat okay, optional
paprika - for garnish
Related Cookbooks:
-Sprinkle cucumber slices with salt, stir to coat, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
-Mix vinegar, sugar, paprika, white pepper, and garlic; set aside.
-Squeeze liquid from cucumbers and discard liquid.
-Fold vinegar mixture, onions, and sour cream into cucumbers.
-Sprinkle additional paprika over top and refrigerate for 1 - 2 hours.

Cheesy Bread,--- sautee onions and garlic in pan with margarine and olive oil, cut italian bread in half and in half lengthwise put bread in pan to coat it with the onions and garlic, put it on a baking sheet and top it with parmesan, shredded cheddar and shredded monteray jack cheese.(or any cheese you like) Throw it in the oven for 10min, till cheese is melted , Really good
