There are conditions for approaching Christ. Acceptance, Repentance, surrender.
As far as the LDS go. I am not saintly enough to be one so I will just stay a bond slave to Jesus Christ.
May the Lord richly bless you.

Mostly they are man made, but usually interpetted from the Bible or it's docrine in some way.
Leviticus 14:2
"These are the regulations for the diseased person at the time of his ceremonial cleansing, when he is brought to the priest:
# Leviticus 14:8
"The person to be cleansed must wash his clothes, shave off all his hair and bathe with water; then he will be ceremonially clean. After this he may come into the camp, but he must stay outside his tent for seven days.
# Numbers 19:20
But if a person who is unclean does not purify himself, he must be cut off from the community, because he has defiled the sanctuary of the LORD. The water of cleansing has not been sprinkled on him, and he is unclean.

I don't know about Mormonism but if there are conditions to entering their temple to pray or worship that would be something that they themselves came up with. You are right about God wanting us to come to Him just as we are. In fact, He says come boldly to the throne to make your petitions heard.

There are no conditions in approaching Jesus, just open your heart and let Him enter and you will find the answers.

Jesus wants you to come to him as you are. The only conditions that Jesus wants is that you come to him with a repentant heart. Don't come to him if you don't want to change. Don't come to him if you are harboring deep embedded sins that you want to keep secret and expect him to open his arms to you. But come as you are. You don't have to be rich. You don't have to be clean. He doesn't care about outer appearances. To him, we are all in filthy rags until we are cleansed by him. Come to him with the desire to become more like him. Any other artificial barriers are man's creation.

Invented by Mormons, apparently. Their temple - they can do what they wish, I suppose.
The only requirements per Hebrews 11:6
But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

It isn't a requirement for Protestants, just be forgiving of those who sinned against you.

You know it's really interesting to non believers to sit back and watch just how disparate and divided you believers are. Is there an absolute God? If there is then why can't you people agree on some way to praise/witness/love She/He/It/Them?
