this is directed to muslims:
I have personally talked to the sheik at the mosque i go to
lAnd i asked him if it was ok to get a nose piecing and he said that it was fine, that it is not un-islamic,
but it is not ok to "mutilate" your face, body etc
like get a piercing everywhere on your face.
Yeah so basically he said there is nothing wrong with a nose piercing.
I got a nose piecing yesterday!!!
and i love it
anyways
I was just wondering what you thought about it?
Would you get one, would you be alowed to get one?
guys: if you were a girl would you get one?

Years ago I wanted my nose pierced so bad but I didnt have the guts to do it. I know that in some different African cultures women commonly get their nose pierced; and I always thought it looked so beautiful. I think some women in east Asian & Indian cultures women get their nose peirced as well..I agree with the Iman who told you that as long you dont pierce other parts of your face and body besides your nose & ears; then thats fine. And of course, tattoos are not acceptable (at least I dont think).
Anyway--I bet most people who see you think its very beautiful. Congrats :)

the Christian,Muslim,and Jewish religion all speak about mutilate the body. But we still do it I had my ears piece at a young age

well women in islam get ear piercing ,so no harm in a nose piercing,its a beauty sign ,no harm ,your intention is beauty not self mutilation,its ok.

no i think it's okay with it...
i had 2 in my ears and i intened to get a nose piecing too..
i think it's not okay for guys....

yes,it's not preferable but sure it's not forbidden...but i won't do it,the only piercing i had was my ears when i was a baby...i can't remember the pain...lol

all my muslim friends have nose peircings so i guess its ok
