Is one drop of cyanide in a gallon of water so bad? No, probably not. How about if you add a drop of cyanide every day for a year and then give someone a nice big glass of that tainted water?

Individually, our sins may seem small -- a little theft of office supplies here, an unkind word there, just a few lustful thoughts every once in awhile. But cumulatively, they add up to a big glass of poison that kills our innocence and love for God.

God is pure and holy, and He cannot look upon sin -- any sin, no matter how great or small. We have to fulfill the terms of His justice, but there is no way that we can do that. It's like offering to pay a million dollar debt at the rate of a penny a month. It just isn't going to happen.

But because Christ was sinless and the perfect sacrifice, His atoning death on the Cross paid our debt once and for all, if we accept it. His Blood washes away all the sin and disobedience in our lives and leaves us cleansed by His righteousness.

No, I don't know why God chose to send His Son as propitiation for our sins. That's a mystery that's beyond my comprehension. All I do know is that it proves His love for us and that rejecting Christ's death is the height of ingratitude.

You've got it wrong.

This is God's way of isolating human beings until he can eradicate a disease that he won't admit into his home. It's not that you're bad, it's that you're sick.

And until you get the cure, you don't get in. Simple as that.

Mind you, if you really, really don't want to live forever, you don't have to. Go ahead, be your own person, be whatever you want. It's a free country! And when you die, yer dun.

if u told a lie -yes

one lie separates us totally from God who is holy and pure, that is why as predicted one had to come to die for our sins as our atonement-Isaiah 52:13-53:12 He will lay down his life to make atonement for our sins. All we like sheep have gone astray, and the lord will make to light on him the iniquity of us all.

worked for me as a Jew -I repented and let Jesus into my heart, now i am saved and Jesus is my best friend and Messiah and life is wonderfull, and he cares for you, praying for you too

if you keep all the law and break one part you have broken the law

one lie is a sin one sin makes me or you a sinner

a sinner needs salvation-he knocks to come into your heart door and be your best friend=Revelation 3:19&20 check it out what u got to lose???? everything and hell to pay too

...well Utuk is not really wrong - there are really, really bad guys (and girls) out there who do really, really bad things on a daily basis. So the fact that you are a nice guy doesn't work as proof that Jesus didn't exist :)

It's not what you do daily, it's what you do through your life, which, if it isn't in keeping with God's plans, that sends you to hell..
God doesn't do it, you do it.
And God knew that you were going to be just what you are, so he came down to die so you could be saved..

Eze 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Sin is the transgression of the law. The penalty for sin is death. We are born into sin. That is why Jesus needed to die for us. Sin seperates us from God which would cause us death since He is the giver of life. Jesus is our ONLY hope! That is why the gospel is the good news of salvation.

Daily? No. Positionally? Yes.

What you do daily in prison is not the point. Jesus died to set you free from the postitional prison of sin.

Yes, the Bible says we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. There is only one way for us to be saved from our sins and that is through the shed blood of God the Son - Jesus Christ. (Rom.3:23,24) Someday we'll understand more.....
