Some misdemeanor warrants are 100 mile, 200 mile, 300 mile or 500 mile extradition warrants. Two county seems to be an arbitrary way of determining extradition, since most counties are bordered by more than two other counties. I would say that's an urban legend.

Keep receipts for your money orders. Since you are in a payment plan, the warrants have probably been recalled by the court.

I am not sure. But it doesnt count for being paid until you pay it off IN FULL.. best bet is to send in a check or pay in person the full amount of 800 as soon as possible.

they might not have ran you, but the driver..and may have not shown up being 3 counties away. perhaps they can not pick u up with that type of warrant. or impound your car if u were driving.

In my state they have to have a good reason to incarcerate you such as DUI. If your paying them they want to keep you working. I don't think Ohio is that much different. Where I live, They make you pay around $80 a day that you are in jail. This reimburses the jail your in, for your meals, bed ,bathroom, and they pile up on top of whatever outstanding fines you have. It's possible that you will go to the grave owing for fines and jail costs

Because you're making an honest attempt to pay the fines, they may just be giving you a break, but if you stop paying, I'm sure the situation will change.
