Really, most people come here with no shots at all.
I don't know what that other guy said about Dengue---there is no vaccine or anything for it. Just try not to get bitten. I've lived in Bangkok for 6 years (from Canada orig.). We came with all our boosters up to date, plus Hep A and B.
Many Americans come without getting any shots at all. In 6 years, I don't know anyone who has become sick with anything at all. Malaria is a non-issue unless you are going to be camping up north. Haven't heard of a single case of it in 6 years here.

Hep A and typhoid.

HOWEVER, if you are coming FROM certain countries especially from Africa, you may need shots for a number of conditions - eg denge fever

Consult your doctor.

Some people also take malaria tablets but this generally is not an issue if you are staying in city and urban area. Malaria MIGHT be an issue if you go into the rural and jungle area.

I don't take malaria tablets myself but I take Hep A and typhoid shot only as precautions. Many people will say you don't need anything at all. Thailand is generally pretty safe.

Again, consult your doctor.

Frankly for Bangkok, you do not require any shots. There is no requirement for any preventive shots unless you are traveling to the countryside, which I think you are not.

Bangkok is pretty modern and hygiene had improved lots since the 1980s. There is no health warning advisory for travel there, only the militant unrest in the southern states.

The best way is to consult with your doctor as you will be asked where you go like such as if you are going to the island may be typhoid is considered. Doctor has a booklet of vaccine need in spacial area. All the best

There are no required immunizations for travel to Thailand now. It would be a good rule of thumb though for you to consult your own physician. They are familiar with you and your medical history and can recommend anything they deem medically necessary for you.
