There are certain areas of The Bible which I believe were either misquoted or are out-dated, but, for the most part, I believe strongly in The Bible's word.

So, therefore, I think that it is RIGHT. =D

There's an awful lot of stuff in the Bible. There is history. As far as I know, nobody has ever been able to disprove any of the history in the Bible. If anything, the archeologist's spade has served to prove that the history of the Bible is pretty darned accurate.
There is prophecy, there is poetry, there is wisdom, and there are parables.
I believe the Bible has all the information we need about God, and about Jesus Christ, but I also believe that there are more writings that are just as interesting, and important, as the ones that got "canonized". For the curious, it is an adventure that has no parallel on this earth, to explore those old writings. There is treasure to be unearthed there, for anyone who is willing to dig a bit......

So far, I've found only two places where the Bible is factually inaccurate, and I've been working at it a long time with the best of resources.

There's a big difference between finding an inaccuracy and claiming that the Bible is correct. There's a big area in between where you can't have an opinion either way if you haven't taken the time to research.

I've taken the time, and I can now demonstrate as either accurate or reasonable at least 80% of the text.

The question is not put well, hence the many ridiculous answers. Of course the Bible is neither right about everything nor wrong about everything. Unfortunately many people find taking an all-or-nothing, intellectually lazy position easier than the difficult, painstaking task of evaluating each claim in light of historical, archaeological, scientific and other relevant evidence.

I have read 10 different translations. Some paraphrased, some modern language, and some very literal. One was written by Thomas Jefferson and reduced Jesus to a philosophical status.

I beleive God's word is trustable and that He has supervised its survival and translations. One might find variations in translations, but they tell the same story:

Jesus is our Lord, Creator, Redeemen, and Savior. I would trust Him over any agnostics on YA.

All holy books that claim to have some inside connection to some god or gods are wrong. They're simply the product of religious fanatics who apparently don't get laid enough.

Neither, to me, it's just literature. It's a book, an anthology, meant to be read. People are free to form their own opinions of it, but it doesn't mean that's it right or wrong.

Wrong.

Aesop's Fables do a better job of teaching morality.

And in many cases, they are more factually accurate.
