Why do people come to this section and ask inflamitory, insulting and down-right stupid questions? Or just make generalized irrational statements?

Yes I of course meant why do SOME people...and I was not meaning to insult anyone. What I am wondering is why some people come to the Religion and Spirituality section and make fun of peoples beliefs.

There seem to be an awful lot of very young folks who use this forum regularly. Why do these young people have so much time on their hands, when this should be the time of their lives when they are busy with friends, and dates, and all sorts of excitement?
I think that most of these kids are suffering from a low self esteem. It makes them feel better about themselves, if they can put someone else down.
As for me, I'm trying to learn to keep my temper in here, and answer all such questions gently and with love...

Because they hope someone else has the same thwarted opinion that they do so they can make themselves feel better.
