Depends on whether you want an 11X14. To me, that's just too big a size and I wouldn't buy one that size, so getting it free still doesn't really make it something I want. If you would buy an 11X14 even with no deals then getting it for free is a good thing. Free sitting is also good, various studios have clubs that you can join to get free sittings every time (at Sears I think its $20-30 for 2 years). And then of course, will you be happy with just the two sheets for $16.95, or will you want to buy more sheets for an additional cost of $17/each. I think that you can find better deals than that, and Sears always has a $9.99 package that gets you about 15 pictures all in the same pose.

Well, you only get two pictures (OK, maybe more if you get wallets-then you have 9 pictures), so I think it's not a great deal. If you get a really good picture and you want more they'll cost $16.95 a sheet which is expensive.

No. If you have any talent whatsoever with a camera, you can do what I have been trying out. I take my own pics of my kid. I set up something for a backround or take her outside in the beautiful scenery and use my digital camera to take pics. If you think about it, you know what will get your child to smile and pose the best and it's a nice personal touch. I am much more pleased with the pics that I take rather than the professionals. You can then put the pics on your computer and add effects or touch the photos up how you like and transfer the finished product back to your camera. Then take your camera to Walmart and take out the SD card in your camera and put it in their computer. Select the pics you want and how many and what kind of prints (8x10, wallets, etc.) and you can do your shopping and pick them up in an hour. I usually can buy enough prints to my liking for about $20. That includes a couple 8x10's, 20 wallets, a few 4x6's, etc. It's alot cheaper to get the prints than if you went with a professional!

not really, and it depends on the photographers work. I own a photography business and we dont have such "deals" most people that go and get their portraits done professionally want more than two pictures...even the crappy department store pic offer real packages.
I would be leary of that one.
