I'm trying to lose weight and I'm trying to exercise but sometimes I don't feel like it. Is there any way to pursuade myself to exercise? I don't eat alot but thanks to previous answers to my other question about weight loss, I realized that it also depends on WHAT I eat.But how can I know how many calories are in foods that are home-cooked. Like broccoli or celery?

I also asked this question and got great answers.

I asked: What are some good gyms for teens? I live in the Atlanta, Georiga area. One answer I got was the YMCA. I heard about that but I don't know where it is. Please give me the address or tell me how I could probably find the address. I gain weight easily, for example if I drink water it seems like I gained half a pound. I'm only 13 and I weigh at least 130 ponds. I don't understand how that has happened. I watch what I eat. i don't eat alot of sweets. Please help me find the address for YMCA or other teen gyms in the Atlanta, Georiga area. Thank You!

Hey, To start drink LOTS of water,( NO POP) You metabolize fat through your urine so You need water to kinda wash it on out. Then did You realize that the more you exercise the more Your body will want to it is all basic willpower very hard to start but Make yourself. Be strict with Yourself. Next cut out white food. Sugar bread flour pasta rice.... As for exercises jump rope jumping jacks You need stuff that will get your blood pumping crank the radio and dance your heart out it works wonders,
And first and for most, Be Happy. It takes so much strength from a person to stress and be depressed especially with a girl and her body trust me I NOW .

The best thing I can say is to try some multivitamins for a week and see how they do. Some people don't show any differences, but most show the pounds dropping like crazy. That's because it gives your body nutrients that don't or can't be supplied in your normal diet and keeps your body from eating at your muscle.
Pure Fitness is a very good gym that is cheap and you get a free personal trainer once a month for free.
If you want a good sport to help lose wieght, I recomend Tennis. It works all your major fat-gaining areas and teaches balance and control. It is also easy to always find someone to play with.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

I eat small portons. I stop eating when i'm not hungry anymore. That means I don't finish what's on my plate.
As for exercise I go up 4 flights of stairs every day. I always park far away from the front door to walk

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
