There is a line of wallace and gromit cheeses available in good delicatessent stores, including wensleydale, stinking bishop and another.

The idea must have come from a 500 hundred years old mith or proverb that said 'The Moon is made of green cheese' that was said to indicate something impossible and unlikely like 'You may just as well believe in flying pigs'

They didn't bring any back because when they tasted it, it was nothing like the fantastic Wensleydale from back home. So they came home for the real thing!
