how do I handle my tough neighbour?

I just bought a forecloure property,house,
in Mexican community.
I try to rent it out,my next door nerbghour,a
Mexican family,keep throw away some trush on his front yard,looks bad and dirty,kill my protential good renter,how can I handle that?

number one - don't tell them you will rent to any specific group - it's illegal and can come back to haunt you via a lawsuit from any potential renters

the open approach is usually the best. knock on their door and introduce yourself as the landlord for the property next door. ask them friendly questions about themselves, the neighborhood, etc. mention any work you plan to do to make your property look better and slip in some friendly suggestions about yard maintenance and keeping the neighborhood look great. (remember to use the tone of "you and me" versus "i think your yard sucks")

if that fails, check to see if the family owns the house or are renters. if they are renters, contact their landlord and explain the situation and see if they are willing to intervene.

there's no easy answer, but if you are proactive, you might make friends and help these people take a little pride in their homes!

i do not know what state you live in...but there are
laws you have the sanitation department...and you can call
311 and they can give you a phone number to call the
informants health and hazard departments...
especially if there are children involved how do you know they are Mexicans and what does that have to do with
their conduct..and maybe they are also tenents there..

i fail to see what this has to do with weddings, but i think that you are stressing race a litttle too much. if the trash is contained on his yard, it doesn't make the neighborhood look nice, but it's not your yard. either speak to him, or mind your business.
