I'm gettin' there today, as evidenced by my utter frustration for the responses I've been receiving to my questions by some Christians, but rather than allowing them to control where I post questions I am willing to fight it out. I think it's important that we all take a stand as to our religious AND spiritual beliefs and/or non-beliefs. To leave this particular section is to give in to the idea that atheists are not allowed to be spiritual, give thanks to those who believe in the betterment of mankind, and are all doomed to die a fiery death in heaven.
As for Y/A itself, I still believe I have much to learn here from the atheists, agnostics, Pagans, Asuraturs, and random Abrahamic theists that offer interesting and exciting views and outlooks. Other than that, I think it's a good place to be. Too many good people on here, like yourself. There are other places to go but I don't believe we'd make quite as much of an impact as we can here.

Actually, I kind of am. I discovered it two weeks ago and suddenly got kind of addicted. I sat for hours almost for a whole day looking at the dumbest questions. I have had terrible neck pain every since from staring at my lap top. I am also a little tired of some of the rude people and fake questions. And on top of it, its kind of irritating when people don't resolve their question and pick a best answer. I mean people took the time to answer your problem at least have the courtesy to say thank you. I don't think this YA habit will last me too long thankfully.

Naaaa it's like a real life social experiment. I think some of us regulars should just be on a RTV show. You stick around long enough you can almost tell when
a.) someone asks a question-and just by the nature of the question who it is without looking.
and
b.) the same as a except when it applies to an answer format.
PLUS I get a good laugh and it challenges my brain...sometimes....

I usually get sick of it, leave for a couple weeks, then find myself really bored at some point and come back. So I guess I'm not sick of it yet, but give me a couple hours.

I love Y!A. . .usually, anyway.
Tonight, I'm tired, and I probably shouldn't be on here right now. When I get tired, I'm easily irritated by trolls, and that's when I tend to say things I regret afterwards. It's that overactive sarcasm gland of mine kicking into high gear.
But I still enjoy reading posts, and I love talking to everybody. There are some great folks here in R&S, and they're the reason I stick around.
((((Hugs to one and all))))

Yeah at times I do get sick of the hatred and other garbage that goes on around here. But I have made alot of friends here and I would miss them if I didn't come around. And I'm sure that some of them would miss me as well.

Well Atheist, you don't have to be here! We all are here of our own free will. I just don't like some of the rude and sometimes disgusting question or remarks posted here by rude people but for the most part, I like it here and I am not sick of it.

Sometimes, the stupidity gets to me. And the obvious baiting questions with the expected foaming at the mouth responses of the oblivious can be hard to bear.
But then I remember that my perception of the world is nothing more than a reflection of me and I find new patience and inspiration.
