Alright. Its kinda a long story but imma make it short. I needed money to pay a friend back (gambling addictions) and sold my brother in laws PS2 to pay my friend back. But my brother in law didn't tell me he wanted the PS2 or didn't want it, he just left it at my house for me to use. He haven't even ask about the PS2 even if he's at my house. Its been a couple of months now and i have enough money to buy another PS2 to replace it. SHould i get one or not?

Yes, you should buy him another one. You said he left it for you to use. Whether he asks about it or not, doesn't give you the right to sell it. You should buy him another one and you should get help for your addictions so you are not tempted to do more things you might regret later.

Do the right thing.

Yes, of course you should. OR....you could be honest, tell you brother-in-law the truth, offer him the money or a new PS2. I think you know what to do.

Ask him if he wants it back, and if he does, buy another one.
If not, tell him you sold it and give him the money.
Never take things that are not yours.
