Why doesn't god come out of the heavens?

Question

Why does he not reveal himself to us like in the old teastement.
I know belivers feel his precense but why not show everyone.
Wouldnt this scare a lot of people straight. I know we are not supposed to question his reasons but im sure he has one.
Do you have an idea.

God appeared to the Israelites, and when they heard him they were afraid, and they asked Moses to go alone in the future because the voice of God scared them.

After hearing the voice of God they still forced Aaron to build them a golden calf to worship. Sounds like hearing the voice of God did not do them much good.

God never revealed himself in the old testament either..he didn't exist then and he doesn't exists now...He was created by man who used magic to baffle the people who were totally uneducated at that time and remain so unenlightened by religion and culture and stupidism today. Only in the minds of people does the concept exist ....and...oh by the way can you define God? It will come out every time on the side of your own limitations. Of course that is if you can stop yourself from regurgitating worn out scriptures...

He did. Jesus walked the earth. Jesus taught, preached, preformed miracles, innocently was tortured and died FOR US. He taught people about God and how to be forgiven and have eternal bliss in Heaven. God did show us through Jesus. But people didn't accept it. They crucified Him and still today, people reject Him. Why? He did nothing wrong. He came to help, to save, to take sins away. He fulfilled Old Testament prophesies and brought these things to pass. God still shows Himself in the beauty and wonders of creation. Countless people (preachers, authors, evangelists, missionaries, etc.) tell, teach, and proclaim of God everyday. Jesus WILL come back again.

He has done more than enough to prove His love for us.

Now it is up to us to use the free will he gave us to make a choice.

Will we recuse ourselves from politics and haughty support of governments and failed human self-rule

or will we choose to defy God and continue to support human governments instead of living according to the Kingdom of the Heavens "love your neighbor as yourself" and "love your enemy" and "if your enemy strikes your cheek, turn the other to him as well"

Love is the only answer

Be "no part of this world" of satans divided political governments

He did. In the person of Jesus Christ. He also left us His word, the bible. People have to choose whether to believe in God or not. Jesus will come again one day, to reward those who have believed, and those who have not will suffer the consequences.

When Thomas saw Jesus, after Jesus had risen, and believed, Jesus said, "Thomas, you see and believe, but blessed are they who do not see, and yet believe". That is why it's called faith.

Because he likes it there and it is so much nicer then here. Why should he waste any more time on us creatures anyway? We either love him and believe in him or we don't. Shouldn't that answer your question. He is so much greater then us that we just might vanish if he did!
