It all depends on the person. Are you the person who dwells over things for a long period of time, or do you just say whateveR? With me, it took a couple weeks, but i know people who were together for years that didnt take too long. If you are hurting, hang out with friends, and keep yourself busy. Go find a new person. it depends on how long u've had the crush and how major it is or was let's say it was a 1year crush it would take about 6months to get over it give or take if the person wants to stop hurting but it all depends on the person

it doesn't depend on how long you've had your crush
it took me 2 months to get over my ex and he was my first love we were together for more than 2 years
I finally got over him after meeting this guy who is actually a total jerk and drug addict
and things with this one never worked out but it took me 6 or 7 months to forget him
i was dating my new boyfriend and still thinking of him and occasionally seeing him
so it's so weird and different from guy to guy but bottom line is you won't be completely over someone unless you find someone else sorry :-(

I had a crush on this girl for a while and when I foundout she was dating some other boy, I just focus on some other pretty girl, trust me it help..atleast for me it did.

the longest i saved a weigh down is approximately 8-9 years and that i nevertheless have a weigh down on him til this present day and he moved to st louis yet i nevertheless like him, yet i will recover from him evenually

it really depends on how much you like them and how often you will be seeing them. the most, a year, i would say.
