The molecules that make up your body are derived from the foods you eat. Therefore, you are what you eat.

Technically, this concept is too simplistic. For example, you can eat an excellent diet, but if you do not digest or absorb the food properly, you will not be healthy. Therefore, you are what you eat, digest, absorb, transport, activate, utilize, metabolize, and eliminate.
