If you are changing from high fat foods and go directly to low fat or non fat you can definitely taste and feel a difference.
The low fat and non-fat have a watery consistancy and the products are a bit thinner in texture.
The trick of changing from full fat to low or non-fat is too do it slowly. For example: if you want to switch from full fat milk (which really is filled with fat) you wouldn't immediately go to skin milk. You would first mix one half of a container of full fat milk with 2% milk. After that container was finished your next purchase would be 2% and you would not mix it with full fat milk.
After a week or so you would then only purchase 1% milk,
then move on to non-fat milk.
By making changes slowly, you won't notice much of a difference so you won't feel as though you are missing out on anything by going low fat.
Most dairy products come in full fat, 2%, 1%, and non-fat (skim) so you can do this with cheese, yogurt, ice cream (go from full fat to slow churned to ice milk) .

Low fat and fat free don't taste too different for me. But I LOVE fat free diary products, much better than the others. I think that like 2% milk is gross, but that's just me... =D
If you're talking about soda, yeah I can tell the diff. between regular and diet soda, but I got rid of the problem completely by not drinking soda. I drink milk, water, tea, and sometimes lemonade.

Lot fat or fat free things tend to be more watery and less creamy. Some products really aren't as good low fat as they are full fat, but others taste pretty much the same. Shop around and see what you like best!

I think it just depends on the person. For me, once I stopped eating fattening foods, I have actually sort of forgotten the way most of the 'bad stuff' tastes. I definitely prefer skim milk , to the fattenig kind. I prefer splenda to regular sugar. Also with diet soda and regular soda. I used to drink regular soda almost constantly, but after stopping, and swithing to diet soda and water, the thought of regular soda just seems gross....like drinking cough syrup or something. Hope this helps.

there's a extensive distinction between 2% milk and fat loose. fat loose is like water in assessment. on the different hand there are some super fat loose yogurts available which you cant tell the version

I surely can. reduced fat does not taste as good which is why I use or eat less of the real stuff. the less a food item has been tampered with the more nutrients it will provide.

Yes, I go full fat: maximum taste! I really don't like sugar free or salt free either, tomato sauce with no salt, yuk!
