Only in the Bible is Baal portrayed as a false god. In ancient religions the name denoted sun, lord or god. Baal was a common name of small Syrian and Persian deities. Baal is still principally thought of as a Canaanite fertility deity. The Great Baal was of Canaan. He was the son of El, the high god of Canaan.

HERAKLES:
Son of ZEUS and of ALKMENE (who was daughter of ELECTRYON, the son of Perseus, and therefore great-granddaughter of Zeus and Danaë). Alkmene was already the wife of Amphitryon, the nephew of Electryon.

Nuliajuk:
In the fluid darkness of the Arctic Ocean, there is believed to be a woman, or what was once a woman. Beneath the waves she waits, her fingers chopped off, her hair tangled with the animals of the sea. She breathes the water, like a fish. No one knows how long she has been there, but it has been at least as long as the Inuit have inhabited the frozen desert of the North.
They call her Nuliajuk, the sea deity. Although the missionaries tried to vanquish her, some believe she still presides, controlling seals and other animals of sea and land with her disposition, crying out when the Earth is injured. She is an Inuit Diety.

Another point I would like to make, for those who LOVE to quote Bible passages. One of the Ten Commandments states: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
So right there the Biblical God is acknowledging the existence of other Gods. Gotcha!!!
Oh and by the way, I'm a Witch!

I'm a Hellenismos. A LHP Hellenismos, but a Hellenismos.

I worship the Greek deities. Herakles is the Greek God of Strength. He was a son of Zeus by a mortal [Thus a mortal] woman. He kileld his family while drunk [and woke up with amnesia], and to seek repentance [and his memory], he went to the Oraclle at Delphi. He did 12 labors. When he ded, he became a God. The only other mortal to become a God was a son of Zeus, Dionysus.

Herakles is Greek, he is honored by Hellenic Pagans. One of whom is my friend on here. (Squishy, who posted down below)

Nuliajuk is an Inuit and Native Alaskan sea deity.

What religion am I? I'm Asatru. (Thus the questions about Norse Deities).

I believe there is a supreme power that makes the world go. Rest all the religions are ego trips for their founders.
