We can only guess what pleases God. As a fellow Catholic don't be concerned about your thoughts or whatever unless they are illegal. The RC church makes you feel guilty all the time and if you want to really feel ashamed then you can go tell an old priest about it!

Well, if you have read the bible, you will see that he is only pleased with pain and suffering endured in serving him. He wants you to commit as little sins and possible and to basically be miserable in this life as a test to prove your loyalty to him.
Seriously, you should leave the catholic church and all other churches for that matter. Religion is something that can make you feel guilt, pain, shame, and sadness that you shouldn't have to feel.
I studied religion and questioned it when i was about your age, I came to realize that religion is just a man made attempt to explain the unknown, and to create a moral system for us all to follow. However, the moral system is rather harsh and actually very sadistic in nature. If you read the Old Testament you will see what I mean. You should study evolution in your classes and the history of all world wide religions. You will find that they are all false, and not worth it.
You deserve better than that, many people nowadays are agnostic, which means they don't believe in biblical Gods but don't know if any supernatural being exist. You shouldn't feel guilty because there is nothing to feel guilty about. You are a human being and have the right to decide what you think is right or wrong. Don't let some stupid old book of superstition tell you anything.
Free yourself of the lies and suffering that is religion, and open your mind and see the world for the beautiful and mystical thing it is.

God is pleased by obedience - to Him. As a fully confirmed member of the Roman Catholic Church, you may have some problems with that sometimes. The Catholic church likes obedience to it's teachings - and often contradict scripture.
If you seek God with all your might, He promises that you'll find Him.

He wants you to rest and do nothing. He wants to work through you to make you into a brand new being.A child of God instead of a child of this fallen world.Only God can save you from your innermost demons and if you just surrender yourself to him he will fight them for you and heal you.Watchman Nee once wrote that 3 people were present while someone was drowning.2 of them couldn't swim but the other was a very good swimmer. The two kept saying to the one to go save the person from drowning. But he just stood there watching.......
Then when the drowning person stopped struggling and gave up trying not to drown the good swimmer jumped in and saved him.
He said if he had tried to save him while he was still struggling he himself would have been pulled under and drowned right along with him.
Stop struggling with your sins and demons.Stop being ashamed of all that you've done.Instead do what makes God happy and just love him as an innocent child loves ones parents.Let God do the rest.

Prayer will be answered when it aligns to Gods will. Do you do that? What you pray about is most important. God looks at your intent and knows what your real desires are. If they are selfish, how is that to be answered? If they further Gods purpose for you and those around you, then you will see them answered. Throwing out a bunch of meaningless words is a waste of energy. It's not prayer. Find some prayers of David in the Psalms for example. They go right to the heart.
As for your struggles, you're right, you are incapable of stopping because you have not set aside the stuff in your life that feeds the sin nature we all have. What do you read? Watch on TV? Talk about? If you are not doing what you know is right, then you, me and everyone who does the same, will struggle.

That depends on which god you're talking about.
Dionysus/Bacchus likes to see people enjoying themselves and having a good time.
Thor likes metal crafting, and the people who do it. Don't try to take his hammer away!
Cernunnos likes running around in the woods, and he likes animals. He favors outdoorsy types who care about the environment.
Inanna loves anything that appeals to the senses: sensuous touch, soft fabrics, tasty meals, beautiful artwork, and sex.
The Biblical god seems to like playing "gotcha" and messing with people's minds.
I don't think the Biblical god answers prayers. If you have a problem where you can't stop doing something that you don't want to do - something you believe is harmful - you may have an addiction. Try therapy, or 12-Step meetings. They have helped thousands of people overcome addictions.

earnestness! god knows you are not perfect, cannot be perfect in this world. when you consider god {pray} be thankful for what light is in the world and beseech to learn more of it. i believe god wants us to aknowledge that we are a failed race.
also, very important, is to accept that we cannot ever come before god by our own deeds. just because we do good things does not make god forget all the other things we do that are wrong.
most importantly is to hide behind our big brother jesus
that his atonement will shield us from gods rightious judgements. we all are guilty of one sin or many. christians cannot claim to sin no more only that they are convicted by the holy ghost that those sins are occuring.
if you wish to address a personal sin that you have been convicted by the spirit needs to cease and you are having trouble refraining from it. try avoiding the actions, places, thoughts that start you down that path and ask the holy ghost within you to help. it is not easy to resist all sin but we can. recall that with god all things are possible and take hope from that.
i'm not catholic but i will confess to you i have still to many sins burdening me. i guess we will only achieve a sinfree state when we become the spiritual beings we were designed to be. in other words, after this world.
don't let satan tell you that jesus can not forgive you anything!

I think God would love for you to sit and enjoy your life for a bit and stop being so hard on yourself with your thoughts about guilt and inner demons. Who doesn't have guilt and trials really? If u dwell on them however, u are unhappy. The question is, does God want to c u unhappy? I think not.

Here is a little funny type story that may help to explain:
A flood is coming to a valley, and one man prays for God to save him. Knowing God answers all prayers he has nothing to worry about and knows he will live. The water is rising and a kid in a pickup truck comes up to the house and says hop in I'll save you, and the man says "my God will save me". The water continues to rise and a person in a rowboat stops and says get in my boat, I'll save you. The man says "no, my God will save me." The water rises to the roof of the house and a helicopter stops above the man and tells him to get into the basket and they will save him. He says "no, my God will save me." The man drowns and in heaven asks God "why didn't you answer my prayers and save me. God says " I tried, I sent you a pickup truck, a boat, and a helicopter"
