I would say it depends on what country we're talking about. In Syria, no. In the US and much of the Western world, yes. Some ignorant Westerners think that all Muslims are terrorists, which is not true. Yes, there are a few who are, but there are also millions of Muslims who are peaceful and trying to live a good life.
If a Christian bombs an abortion clinic, no one accuses all Christians of being terrorists. But when a Muslim bombs something, people think ALL Muslims are terrorists. It's just not true. To give another example, I'm a teacher, and I have brown hair. Does this mean that all teachers have brown hair? No, of course not! But Westerners are ignorant about many things, including Islam, and ignorance causes fear.
Oh, and how is it that when Muslims bomb the US, it's terrorism, but when the US bombs Iraq, it's not? That's a double standard! And when you bomb someone, you should not be too surprised when they bomb you back!
Okay, I'm done ranting now.

YES i do,
as a muslim i faced so many problems when i travel because of my religion which can be recognized from the scarf i'm wearing on my head ( hejab)... believe it or not some people didn't stop staring @ me & give me those bad looks like i killed somebody!!! & i did nothing but minding my own bussiness & trying 2 live in peace,,,our religion's all about peace & love ... i wish everybody knows it but..they just won't listen!...they think that we're forcing people to convert & this's soooo not true,,,we just offer our help is somebody needed further information about islam.
& i think all the discrimnation problem is because they think that we're terrorists or they think that we kill people just because they aren't muslims..well i hope they'll correct their ideas,,because if any terrorist happened 2 be a muslim it doesn't mean he represetns us or we're satisfied about his acts,,,actually it doesn't mean that he's muslim at all because ALLAH told us not 2 kill or harm any living being so how do the words terrorist & muslim match?!?! they're like the opposite...

Yes. But i am not whinging or crying over it. The media is relentless in its persecution of Muslims, let me give you an example.
In Glasgow at the beginning of the month a Muslim woman was attacked when walking with her baby in a push chair. They called out racial comments and threw stones at her. One of them sexually assaulted her and took her head scarf of then he attempted to sexually assault her one year old son in the same way.
Now the media has not made much of this story at all. A small piece on sky news and that's about it.
Now tell me this if it was 4 Muslim men who committed the same offense towards a non Muslim woman would that not be front page news for days and days? Oh you can bet your life it would.

Which ones?
EVERYBODY is discriminated against in this world. In the United States right now, Muslims probably receive the most discrimination. In the Arab part of the world, Western Europeans including the United States and Israel probably receive the most discrimination. In Japan, the most discriminated against is probably the Chinese. In Alabama, it is probably African Americans. In my town I would guess that homosexuals receive the most discrimination.
Do you get my point? Everybody is a victim of discrimination and in every circumstance it is clearly immoral. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

Some people do discriminate against Muslims - and that's not right to do. Some Muslims do discriminate against non-Muslims - and that's not right either.
Most Muslims are just regular honest people trying to get through life, and are NOT terrorists. The same can be said of most non-Muslims. Unfortunately, every group has its idiots and haters.

yes i do .. I mean ake into consideration allot of people think all muslims are terroists there NOT , but listen racism will always be around unfortunatly, I see "isms" of evry kind in this country that I love so dearly.
sexism racism, ageism .. it goes on and on its sad .. if were as simple as love your neighbor it would be so cool , no wars nothing but man is more complex and selfish . We need to take care of the planet of each other and know one is NOT better then the other .. and God whatever that means to you in your personal choice and right .. but should not be enforced on others .
have a nice weekend
peace!
