my gf of 2 yrs broke up with me, for no reason....just outta the blue....its been like 8 months already and i have moved on to dating other people again but it was a painful experience for me.....i have never loved a girl as much as i loved her....and mind u i have had many gfs in the past......but ever since i broke up with her i havent been the same, my sexual imagination has gone awry.....does love mess u up like this too?

I guess all of us have had the experience of this, or will have it at some point in our lives.
The thing is, that you now are going through a phase. They say that normally it should take about one and a half year to start dealing with your break up. At this point things will go better. Up. You have been alone 8 months now. Give it a little bit longer time, and you will see that it will change slowly slowly.

Yeah love is weird you can be someoen for 6 months and it messes you up for a long time, or you can be with someone for years and its the easiest thing to get over. Sorry I feel for you, Im in that situation myself, just feel what you need to feel, and realize there is nothing you can do, move on with your life. I think as men we take breakups a bit harder especially if we got dumped because or man ego gets bruised and as tough as we like to think it is, it's actually very fragile.

awww....thats terrible to hear. you guys went out for a while. she should've given you the reason why. love does mess you up, but remember that you were not married to her. there are people who are together for 10-15 years and then divorce. you saved yourself a lot of time. just go out wit someone who has everything you desire in a woman and make sure she is serious!

yes it has. I've loved my soulmate, lost him, and for 12 years grieved for him... and he wasnt even mine... love has a way to make you feel the happiest person alive and make you feel like an old wrinkled rag no matter what your age is.... love... it has two sides. Everything does it seems :)

yes, I have gotten very short-tempered with men. Like, since a couple ex's of mine, I don't trust anyone, or it doesn't take much for me to tell them "good-bye". Maybe its not a bad thing, for me at least, I guess, I won't settle. For you, its more like you're sick over her... have you talked to her? You should talk to her, maybe you can work something out...?
