why are so many religious people so overweight and unhealthy .its says to eat of the fruit bearing trees and seed bearing plants, and it says nothing about honeybuns and all those junk foods

Overweight doesn't have anything to do with God's Temple. There are people who eat mostly junk food because it is their taste.
The Bible says no one should judge anyone for what he eats.

Do you really want to generalize that much? It really makes you seem ignorant. Most religious people are no more overweight than any other cross section of our culture. Besides Christians have never claimed to be perfect... get that? Christians are sinners to, we just attempt to be accountable for our sins. Grow up!

Actually, the body isn't the temple of the "lord". It is YOUR temple. The Temple for your Soul, and especially because of this we should treat ourselves right, through healthy eating habits, exercise (though I have trouble with that one), and not polluting our body with chemicals of any kind.
But then, all things in moderation, we also should be happy.
