worth going. my friend is going and convinced me to go and she siad jesus will heal my illness. kinda afraid to go if it doesn't work. i just don't want to be disappointed and lose my faith. plz, serious and sincere answers only and no hate e-mails either.

It's Hokus Pokus to believe that any "Church Service" is any better than any other in "Healing" or other "Specialty" feature!!! Please go back to Scripture where U can read that the greatest apostle ever, Paul, had an affliction that God chose not to heal. And don't let anyone Bully U (girlfriend) into runnung Ur life! Let Christ do that if U want a good life! These people try to gain control over U by claiming U just don't have enough Faith or Ur not holding Ur mouth just right or some other nonsensical thing, in pushing their will on U!!! If Ur a Christian, U can go directly to the source, God, with Ur prayers & petitions, U don't need any other Sinful Phony Religous Person to do it for U!!!!! John

A healing service should not be a substitute for medical intervention. It will not take away your physical illness.
However, it can give you the strength and hope that you need to fight your illness. If you are expecting to become miraculously healed of a biological illness, you will probably be disappointed.

I have seen actual miracles take place at healing services...God is sovereign,but often does use the method of the laying on of hands,when the petition is fueled by faith.

God will answer your prayers in His own way. Your faith in God will help in your answer to your prayers.
Just remember, Priests, Preachers, and clergy are not magicians. God is not a magician like you see on tv. God does not do magic tricks. If you believe God is real and believe God can heal you then you can be healed.
