If he died for my sins, he overreacted.
Nothing I've done is so bad that somebody has to be tortured to death to pay for it.
Any god who thinks that even my private thoughts, which I don't act upon, are sins, is totally unreasonable and doesn't deserve worship.

It is a personal belief that he dies for our sins.
Why would not someone be happy for Christ taking on the sins of the world so we could get into heaven without a sacrifice of our own? If you were going to the firing squad and I took your place, would you be grateful. Jesus did that and more. He said Father forgive them , they know not what they do because even upon his death he was Loving and showing the way. There is the belief in Karma. He said, "as you sew, so shall you reap." If he would say Father curse them, then would not he bring the same upon himself. He would have been a hypocrite himself because he taught , Love your enemies and do good to those who hurt you. Which is easier, to Love someone who hurts you or hate them and seek revenge. He taught to be more than this world.
And to build up your treasures in heaven. You do not get into heaven by your deeds, you get there by his. Where you go when you go there is on you. So be good and you will attract good when you leave here. Rev. TomCat

Yes. It is the greatest love anyone has shown. Only a God who loves us can do what Jesus did. I am glad He so lovingly died for all of us. Not only for Christians but for the whole of mankind. And yet so few still love Him back. But He forgave them nevertheless. That is why He is the greatest Lover.

Jesus didn't die for your sins. He died to defeat death so it could no longer conquer His people. His people are those who have repented of (turned away not just felt sorry for) their sins, been Baptized and Crismated and partake in His divine Life. or those who who do not know of Him that follow the law written on their hearts from birth. In no way does His death give anyone a free for all to sin knowing they are sinning. His death conquers Death and opens the path to eternal Life in which we must deny ourself take up our crosses and follow Him. Leading a life either without sin or in continual repentance.

No, The concept of another person dying for you might fill some people with joy, but I fail to see how telling someone that they are responsible for an innocent man being humiliated, tortured, and killed, is beneficial.

Yes, I am grateful to Jesus for dying for me. It is overwhelming to think that someone could love anyone that much. I am just sorry that He had to suffer at all.

Every day I wake up, I'm grateful for what He did for me. I think about what I was and see what I am today, and know that without Him, it would have been impossible.

I'm always truthful. Jesus doesn't exist. Jesus didn't die for our sins. Your god doesn't exist.
And thats the truth.
