I am going on holiday tomorrow and realise from checking my airline's information on hand luggage that I need a resealable bag if I want to take any liquids through as part of my hand luggage.. And it has to be no bigger than 20x20cm. Where the hell can I buy one at such short notice?!? Or are they now sold at the airports for idiots like me who didn't know they needed one?

I am going through the same thing - airport rules and regulations on what you can and cannot bring. I guess the size of liquid bottles you bring ON the plane are 3 ounces or less. However, the other day there was a security issue with that - so you might want to check again. Now about those resealable bags - I think they have to be clear and with a zipper. I would try to go to a bath type store or section of a store. They have stuff like that at Wal-Mart. Cosmetic areas also have makeup and lotions that come in containers like that - you can just take the makeup/lotion/contents out of the bag and use it.

determine which you place any toiletries in a a million quart zip lock bag and each and all of the beverages might desire to be 3 ouncesor much less. verify to %. that bag on genuine or an outer pocket so which you have rapid get entry to to it. it would desire to pass right into a screening bin separate out of your carry-on bag. additionally, in case you have a pc, it too might desire to be screened one after the different. as long as you have not have been given any prohibited products like bottles of beverages, issues that are or seem as though weapons then the probability of having a hand seek is narrow. yet probability is, in the event that they flag your bag, they're finding for a definite merchandise and could ask you in case you have such and such like "do you have a bottle of water in there? or do you have a hair drier in there?" i had clay poker chips one time so my bag replaced into flagged. only think of approximately what you're packing and how it would look decrease than x-ray. sturdy gadgets like rocks, minerals and heavy metals tend to spark off the alarms to boot as liquid products and gel.

They don't always hand them to you as you go through security, that's a myth. I've gone plenty of times where ppl have held up the line because they thought they could just grab one there.

Ziploc my friend. Go to your local grocery, grab a box of 10 and you're set. They don't need anything special or fancy.
