What foods can I eat at night, that won't cause much weight gain, if not any?

I have trouble not eating at night, so I'll usually munch on some crackers, or something with not a lot of calorie intake.

I've been at this for awhile now, but with good results. I've already lost six pounds!

protein based foods are optimum when eating at night. they cause the least amount of insulin to be secreted and are not likely to be stored as fat even if they cause a caloric excess.

I read somewhere that it's a good idea to eat about 100 g of some protein food (like Tuna or Mushrooms) at night to stimulate your metabolism and decrease water retention.

Don't eat anything spicey or greasy before bed or you'll get heartburn.

At night foods are hard to digest. You should eat foods that are a good source of Fiber. Not only will this fortify everything you’ve already eaten throughout the day, but it will lesson your hunger much more than other foods, it’s a natural hunger suppressant. I recommend green beans.

Btw protein is hard on the kidneys at night. should you choose protein drink plenty of water, or you will begin to feel the aches in your kidneys the following morning.
