By providing me with ability to succeed at what I love - which is studying religions. I got an A+ on my paper I wrote about Zoroastrianism.

Ahura Mazda is the Prince of Light. Like Attis of Phrygia and Y'Shua ben Yosef of Galilee, Mazda is a reincarnation of the ancient Osiris figure, thousands of years older than those other religions.
Osiris of the Nile is the original man-god, the redeemer, the intercessor and mediator between God and Man. Osiris was killed but rose again, and offers eternal life to those who believe in him. They remember him in the sacred meal of wheat bread and wine, or barley bread and beer, depending on what is available in your part of Egypt..
Osiris is the corn of wheat which falls into the ground and dies, but is restored to life and brings life to others. Recognizing this, excavated Egyptian tombs often disclose wheat buried with the mummies.
The burial casket of Osiris floated across the sea to Byblos, Syria, where sacred books about him were collected, giving us the word "Bible" from "Byblos."
The Greeks transformed Osiris into Dionysus, and there are Greek vases in museums today showing the celebration of the sacred meal with bread and wine.
Christianity built on these ancient Mediterranean religions, and Paul added in Platonism from his Greek education. The Essenes and others brought elements of Persian Zoroastrianism. The figure of the Ahura Mazda is one of these contributions to Christianity from the Zoroastrians.
Ahura Mazda was lifted to a high place by the devil Aharman, and offered all the kingdoms of the world if he would renounce his faith. This "Great Temptation" story also appears in Buddhism. The Christian Gospels' version is lifted almost word for word from the Avestas, the scriptures of Zoroastrianism, in which Ahura Mazda is the Christ-figure.

Probably just as much as any other god... only to the extent that those who believe in any god touches my life with their witnessing.
I am an atheist, and I have no beliefs in Ahura Mazda or Jesus Christ, or Allah.

Is that a car? I've never been hit by a Mazda - only a Ford Mustang, a Dodge Neon and two small deer.
