You should go to church once a week...and confession as often as needed, but not less then once a year.

Well that sounds like a Catholic church. I say never. Confession to atone for your sins? The Bible states only God the Father can forgive sins not a priest. Find a Bible believing church. Repent and get baptized. Having a relationship with God is the only way to Heaven and a more fulfilling life here on earth. If you are confused as to why I say stop going to the Catholic church read on its past, its traditions and idolatry just to name a few. Some may think that guy is way to extreme. That is why the church is so liberal now because they kept compromising. May God Bless you on this journey. Hope to see you in Heaven someday brother. Peace out...............

Well, that all depends on you. Since you refer to confession, I am guessing you are Catholic. Many Catholic Churches have services everyday, some several times a day. You could very well go as often as you want. Or you could not go at all.
Do you feel particularly sinful that you have to go often to confess your sins and atone for them? If so, then maybe you should think about revising your behavior.
I'm not Christian, so I don't go to church at all, as such. Mother Earth is my "Church", and I'm there all the time.

You should never leave church - you should never cease atoning

-you should also know that Church is way more than the bounds described by the bricks making up a building with the sign "Church" out in front. "Church" is way more than spiffying up for an hour on Sunday.

It is my belief system that we should always atone - the only way to become one with Peace - being "at one" with nature, "at one" with humans, being "at one" with one's own spiritual accord, with others, with one's own sins, with the sins of others - we are all human - we are all pathos - we are all the same being in the eyes of God. Why do we consider attacking a part of our own globe when we as individuals would hardly consider attacking our own arm and chopping it off?

approach life with a tone of supplication - the stranger on the street is actually Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior - the little girl in the chair in the office waiting room is the Holiest Virgin - the old man feeding pidgeons is the Enlightened Buddah - treat them as you would their heavenly counterpart as I've described - they may not know it but believe it and you'll be living more "at one" with the spirit of Christ and the everlasting love of God

it doesn't have anything to do with being inside of any particular building

If you are Catholic you are required I think to go to confession and receive the sacraments once a week. You must go to confession before getting communion.
If you are going to be a Catholic, be a good Catholic and ask your Priest that question.
The Bible says to worship on the Sabbath and keep it holy.
Jesus said, The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.
It also says that when you pray to go to your room and pray in private. Do you not see that your relationship with God is in your heart. The kingdom of God is within he said. If you are sincere, then talk to God whenever you like and best to have communication every day. It keeps the channel open for you, not him. Church is for your inspiration , he does not need any. He does enjoy your free willed love and turning to him when in need as any Good Father would. I suggest you go to church as much as you need to. Seek God with all your heart and the path of righteousness.
God bless your journey. Love and Light,

In the Christian New Testament, the book of Acts, it says the new Christians daily went from house to house with the breaking of bread and prayers. It didn't tell us to go to church. Small groups of minimum two or three is sufficient for the presence of God to be there. The book of James says, "confess your sins one to another and pray for each other that you may be healed." No mention of a special priest or pastor is made.

Go as often as you like...it's a good thing to do..but I caution you, don't be surprised if you find church closed when you most want to be in there.

If only the church Pope John Paul 11 loved so much would do as he once said..."Throw open the doors and windows and let everyone in!".

The more they close people off, the more I see going wrong.

You are not under the letter of the law, but should follow after the Spirit. Go to Church when the Spirit leads you to. But to follow after the Spirit means you die to the flesh. So, don't consider what your flesh wants you to do, but when the Spirit leads you to.

You need to confess your sin as soon as the Holy Spirit convicts your spirit man. Confess your sin (to God) and He is faithful & just to forgive you your sin and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.

Once the Blood of the Lamb of God has redeemed you from your sins, then when you sin, fess up.

As many times as you feel comfortable going. If that means none, then don't go.

God is everywhere and you don't necessarily need third parties to tell you how you should believe or how you should worship.

To me, the very best relationship with your higher power is a very personal and direct one.

Ultimately, the best way to please God is ultimately to treat others just the way you want to be treated. As long as you do that, you can't go wrong.
