I know of the Spanish word:

"pedazos" = pieces

That's "pedazos" and it's Spanish for "pieces".
Lo rompiÃ³ en tres pedazos = I broke it into 3 pieces.

pedazos = pieces, fragments, bits

but also
ser un pedazo de pan = to be extremely good-natured
