isnt it true that everybody interupts the bible differantly and if you do take it literaly word for word as the word of god then why do some gospels differ from each other when it describes one event?
what is your interuptation to these quotes from the bible;
it says that if a man rape a virgin then he is to pay her father, and then the girl is to marry him and not leave him.
Deuteronomy 22:27-28
Ezekiel 9:6 "Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women . . . "

Hosea 13:16 "they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with children shall be ripped up."

Because jesus was a nice and good man whom the evil world interpreted as messiah and was not ready to give up its evilness rather put all the pressure of spiritual cleaning on the nice gentle jesus.

The bible is like a history book written by man. God did not have a part in it except through inspiration. Many have had their part in it and have written by inspiration. As in the verse you described. You confused and combined the meaning. One passage is talking about rape and that the rapist should be found guilty and killed while the women should have no shame of sin.
The other passage talks about fornication and the consequences of paying the offering a dowry and marriage when found out.
Over the centuries much has been handed down by word of mouth and translated often not even by the disciple who told the story or lived it many years after the event.
The gospels are different in parts because different men gave their version of the even. You can pick the bible apart and build your case. I suggest you take the wisdom from it to live by and not worship the bible. Worship the God in it.
Believe or don't. You don't have to prove it wrong. You will find questions in every religion that don't add up. "As for me and mine, we shall serve the Lord God!"

My boyfriend is a Christian, and has been all his life. He thinks evolution is reasonable, as he doesn't think the 6 days in the bible were 24-hour days, but could have been hundreds of years. Not to mention that evolution is happening all around us all the time... so for anyone to say that evolution pushes god out is kinda silly. There are many people like my boyfriend who feel this way, too.

some christians don't have self belief in evolution, and stick steadfastedly to the define of introduction, as defined in the bible, regardless of all drawing close wisdom. i've got self belief those christians should additionally be refusing surgical procedures, and denying DNA evidence and such, yet they do no longer. All different christians with a typical flair do no longer deny technology.

Evolution pushes God out of existance. And, If the word is false (the Bible), this would discount God.

I'm an atheist but do not believe in evolution either. There is no relation between the two.

I know evolution is true and I think there is a God. I also know that God is not that monster in that ficticious book called the buy-bull.
