why is the image of islam so disorted in america ?? if it is such a bad religion how come it's the fastest growing religion in america and the world ?? why is there a painted image of islam being a terrost religeon ?? just because some guys went and blew up the world trade centers it's all the muslims fault ?? when the oklahoma bombing occured the world didnt blame all the americans just the basterd who did it ?? why is it taken that islam is the religeon of violence?? The word Islam means PEACE in arabic and all the teachings in islam prohibet violence, crime and hatered towards other religeons.

The world trade center incident has not been investigated as it should. When it happen we will hear a different story.
For Oklahoma, if you recall the first report by Janet Reno she said” Witness saw two middle eastern type men ” ……………Actually they blamed it on Arab Muslim at their first report.

This misconception is caused mainly by the media, which is controlled mainly by the people in power.

(The word Islam means PEACE in arabic)
The word Islam means submit one self to the will of its creator and to live in harmony with other creation.

Islam first years has been known to be very peaceful and forgiving with non muslims. When it became very hard for muslims to keep up with the unjust world around them. When tribes after tribes come together against muslims and plot for them and plan to kill them Allah ordered muslims to fight back. Allah ordered them to protect themselves. He also acknowledges the fact that they hate to kill or be killed.
Muslims has been given the order to fight within clear rules that prohibit them to do otherwise. They should not kill because they are angry. They should fight for the truth to prevail.

Regarding the different interpretation of the religion, it is in every religion and is not limited to Islam. Muslims believe that Jews are 71 different types, Christians are 72 different types and Muslims are 73 different types. Definitely they may agree on some and disagree on a lot. While a catholic think highly of the Pope, a protestant does not consider him important.

As a teacher, that is EXACTLY what I taught in my classroom right after 911. I pointed out that the Oklahoma bomber was a red-headed white guy and I asked whether we should now fear all such men. I pointed out that with over 1 billion Muslims in the world, even if 10 million of them want death to America, it still leaves 99% of the Muslim population that is not anti-American and/or Western. I even drew a pie graph on the board to demonstrate how tiny 1% of a population is. They got the message and relaized that even with 20 jerks in the school would not make ALL of them jerks. My lesson went over so well that the one Muslim woman in our building/school district borrowed my lesson plan to use....she loved it!

And yes, Islam does mean to "submit"....Jesus obediently submitted to the Father's will as seen in Scripture...John 22:41-43

i'm trying 2 correct other people's wrong images about ISLAM ..it's the PEACE religion.. so don't judje all muslims 4 the wrong behaving of 1!...actually terrorism is against islam & against all the religions,,,i'll tell them littttle facts about islam:
* it's forbidden 2 kill or harm any living being...
*it's forbidden 2 steal,,lie,,or hurt each others
*some people think muslims are dirty people & it's %100 WRONG! because ALLAH told us 2 wash & clean 5 times aday before praying
*most people think that men are number 1 in muslims society & it's completely wrong,,,,women are treated equally or maybe i can say: with more respect.
*we don't force people 2 convert 2 islam we just offer our help if we were asked 2 give any information about it,,,& we don't hate or hurt people with other religions!...Allah told us to behave nice even 2 non-muslim people so they can see how beautiful islam is.
i wish that i corrected some people's images,,,i'm proud 2 be a muslim not just 4 these reasons..i got a whole list!

whats with that persecution complicated? i robotically step in each so often because there aren't any voices in help of islam in that particular element of the internet, that suggested, islam has many violent adherants and to absolve duty of the thousands of human beings inspired by technique of islam to soak up violence is truly susceptible. if the truth suffered, cancerous little ones ought to understand each little thing. 911 isnt the in elementary words attack thats been perpetuated those days.

i just wanna say something..i know im not old enough but im sure islam s religion of peace u know why?cause my father had anger problem and he was nothing but a scum,cause he always abused my mom..domestic violance was an ordinary thing in our house but he went egypt last month and he convert to islam there..now he is muslim,and he totally change.he is not a scum anymore,he respect my mom now.he pray 4 or 5 times each day and he love hes family now and we are so happy.he is my dear father now..

Islam was spread by the sword in the beginning, and has continued in that vein to this day.

I don't think our view is distorted at all. At this nation's very beginning, we had to fight the Islamist Barbary Pirates in Libya, because they demanded tribute (Jizya) from American flagged vessels. (This is why the Marine Corps Hymn says "..to the shores of Tripoli...")

k, so, i think that since it is the fastest growing religion, people are scared of it. they're scared that their religion will become the minority.

and if you look at the website that the person below me posted, is's from isreal. the country that is at "war" with a muslim country, so it's most likely all lies. although, you can't really call it war because the palestenians can't fight back since they are poor and have no weapons.
