How did we lose the True Light in the first place?

There are many paths but only one way,Jesus is the way the truth and the life.

God has revealed His plan for the world through His Son, Jesus Christ. There are not many paths, but one. Jesus said that this path is narrow and those who find it are few. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man can come to the Father except by Me." [John 14:6]
Jesus is the Light of the World, [John 9:5] stick with Him and you stick with the light. :)

It's not a path to God...it's God's path to us! He calls and gives us the grace to respond. We cannot initiate anything of our own accord. That's why God could ask Adam in the Garden of Eden, "Where are you?" He knew, of course, the geographic location of Adam, but the question is interpreted as "where are you in your relationship to me?" He wanted Adam to do some self-reflection in light of his grievous act of caving in to Eve's offer of the forbidden fruit. That being said, he asks each of us, "where are you?" so we can reflect....and respond.

No one has lost their tru light. It's always there. We may have to search for it a bit. In that search, you can find your OWN light.
