When praying, we are to ask with pure and right motives. We also have to understand that the Lord is not a giant genie sitting on a cloud. A lot of Christians have become captivated by the "Name it and Claim it" movement, and there are a lot of charlatains out there proclaiming to be servants of God, but who are in reality wolves seeking after a profit in the name of God. These are people that you need to steer clear of. I can pray all I want for 10grand, but that doesn't mean that I'm going to get it. What people don't seem to understand is that God answers our prayers one way or another: yes or no. We first must seek him with our whole heart, to understand what his will for our life is.
I think also that the Lord blesses some people financially, but it also comes through hard work and determination on their part, not some wish list that we have demanding that God give us money/power/fame, etc.
That's just my opinion though.

God does help thise who help themselves. It is going to depend on why you need the money and I would say from personal experience that there is a good chance your answer will be no. We have to try and be dilligent with the money we make to take care of ourselves. That does not mean that bad things do not happen to go d people. but God is our moral support and He hasw a reasonm foer all that happens. I was heading to my mom's last week and got 65 miles from home and still had that far to go when I remembered I had forgottten my daughters medication. I never forget her medicine, but it meant I had to go home and start over. I new I had to stay home and God wanted me there some reason. The next morning my good friend called and said thank God you are home. I said hey girl whats up. She thne told me her sons dad , her ex had been shot and killed that very night. She needed my help. I thanked God for returning me home so I was there for my friend I am still helping her get through it. Is going to be financially secure not any more than she already is. But she knows I am here for her and she is grateful and thank God for using me to help my friend. So He does helps us but he decides what we need. Best of Luck and I will pray for you. The other thing that is vbery important is having a good belief in God.

So God does this for you what do you do with the ten grand? get drunk as often as you wish and become addicted to alcohol, go to a casino and gamble, loss it all and end up in bad debt.
Use it to gain easy access to sex and use women for your own satisfaction?
Do you see why some prayers are never answered, work hard earn the money and then maybe you would be much wiser with it.

What if your not meant to have the 10grand. In that case, you won't get it no matter what you do.

Hi Martin, God does not want us gambling with the hard earned money He helps us to have by giving us the jobs where we earn that money. Next, you must be giving yourself to the Lord fully for HIm to hear your prayers. That is written in the Bible. and those who dont, He wont hear. God wants us to work for our money, and will bless us in many ways, including financially , if we are loving Him and obeying Him. Many ppl want the blessings of God without giving anything to God. Much for you to think about, but this is truth according to Gods word. You dont need any of us to help you. You need only Jesus as your personal saviour and to allow Him to help you in all the ways you really need. Its not about making you filthy rich. We are to be blessed in all things to overflow. and we will be if we give ourselves fully to God. Ask God to help you, get a Bible and study it constnatly till it makes sense to you, and pray pray pray. It will come.
God bless you in your search. Seek and ye shall find,,, He tells us.

don't be stupid, God helps you with things you want according to his will, you can try and win the lottery and you just might but you need to think of priorities rather than the lottery, and r you going to give ten percent of that in tithe and offering.

This is a question you would need to ask God personally, then hear to what the Spirit has to say.

The Bible is not the source of your quote. Ben Franklin said it, and I don't think he claimed to be a Christian.
God promises that He will supply all our needs, if we are His.

God sees your heart.
If you were a missionary, for instance, God may supply your needs.
Otherwise, better work hard!
