I promise that I'm not going to pick on the athiest or christians.
First this is for Christians. I'm a christian, but we need to STOP judging the athiest as we have our own faults. We wouldn't be christian today if we didn't know that we are sinners and fault short of the glory of God.
You can't be judging them at all cause remember that we do not fight against flesh and blood but against pricipalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
God also promised us to fight our battle.
Yes, I know God said to preach to all the nations but we are not suppose to force them. God gave all of us free will.
We are also suppose to show that we are love. Remember Jesus walked with the sinners and loved them. We ought to do the same if we claim that God is in us.
And now for the athiest, We all have our right to say and do what we want. All that I ask is that you respect us. I love you as God commanded me to, God Bless.

I'm a Christian as well, and I agree with you. The majority of my close friends are atheists. I even had two friends who were Wiccans as well.
I remember my neighbors driving me home from church, saying we should stay away from atheists and such. I think it's all quite... crazy? Sad? If Jesus stayed to himself, no one would've gotten saved. It also is a poor portrayal of the love in Jesus's message. My friends often comment on the hatred shown in Christianity or by Christians to them...
I also don't think you should ever 'beat someone on the head with a Bible', as some people say. Because if we force God's word on someone, then they may not truly understand or accept it.
I think the best way to preach is to be the best person you can be and be a good example/portrayal of Christianity.
Both Christians and atheists seem quite disrespectful to their differing beliefs... Some Christians may brush off the disrespect, but it's sort of. "This is what my life is based on, centered on. If you're disrespecting the core of my life, you're disrespecting me as well." I understand if people don't believe in what I believe in. I think, however, both Christians and atheists should refrain from joking offensively about their differing beliefs.
It's one thing to say, "I don't believe in what you believe in. It just doesn't make sense to me." It's another thing to say, "That's stupid."

The main reason that christians should not judge atheists is that their bible says that only god can judge.
But yes, it would be nice if we all tried to live and let live.
I'm a theistic agnostic and I'm probably not going to change my spiritual stance any time soon. I definitely won't change it based on a person with flaws judging me for being flawed.
Except for your belief in the christian viewpoint about god, I agree with everything you have said, and to the best of my recollection it is biblical.

I for one don't judge them.
Actually I don't care if they believe or don't.
It really isn't my problem.
It is God's.
I know I believe in Jesus.
I know from what they say, they don't.
So!
What is the problem?
I think the problem resides with the people that think it is their responsibility to save souls for Jesus.
I say, He is the Savior God, it is His job.
There is a bible verse that seems to apply as to whose job it is.
John 16:8 "And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin, and righteousness, and judgment;
Who is He? The Holy Spirit, God Himself.

Okay. Iread the first couple of sentences and got bored.
Christians are supposed to share the good news of Jesus sacrifice and love with others. It is the compassionate thing to do, as the Lord is the only way to heaven. Stating as much is not the same thing as judging.
By the way, 'not judging' means only not passing physical judgement (physical punishment) on others for what you perceive as sin. It doesn't mean refraining from pointing out sinful behaviour and calling it what it is.

Why should atheists respect people that believe in silly imaginary gods? Respect is earned not just given just because.
Religion breeds stupidity. So now we should respect stupidity?

I respect you and your right to believe however you feel like believing and others as well. All that I ask is that everybody respects my rights to believe or not believe how I feel like believing or not believing. I personally don't care what anybody believes or doesn't believe. I just want to be left the hell alone already.
