I live in the US and am planing a trip to the philippines do i need to show a return ticket to US before i can leave the USA I know i need to show a forwarding ticket to enter the philippines but don't know what is needed to leave do i need a roundtrip ticket to leave or can i leave on a one way ticket thanks for any help

yes, you will need a return ticket. else, Philippine authorities will not allow you to enter. a philippine tourist visa is valid for about 29 calendar days. you can ask for an extension though subject to certain guidelines.

Yes but you may need a freturn ticket to get into the next country

It depends on where you're going. You can go to Europe on a one-way ticket, but you cannot go to Australia. Find out from the consulate of the country you are visiting.

Yes if you have a US passport it is my understanding that you can leave on a one way ticket
