I want to redecorate my room. I want a Hollywood theme bedroom, since I am an inspired actress. Does anybody know any good stores that includes this theme?

Yeah I've already got started. I was going for the classic theme alittle with a twist. I'm going to paint my walls grey my room is dark & I want more light in it.

It really depends on what you are looking for. You say Hollywood Theme. There are many aspects to Hollywood. If you want the classic Hollywood then I would suggest painting the room in a rich dark color like taupe or brown and use satin and silk accessories. You can pick up old fake hollywood pictures on eBay, Walmart, Target. Also check out local thrift stores, goodwill, salvation army and antique stores. If you wanted the mobster hollywood paint in bold dark colors like burgandy and use gold accents pillows curtains picture frames.

I don't think that there is one certain store that has Hollywood themed stuff but an easy way to find the stuff is online. You can google whatever you are looking for and you are most likely to find some great stores carrying the stuff you need. Even check target.com, walmart.com, ikea.com, etc.
As long as you have a certain idea on furniture and decorations you want it should be easy.
Also go to Home Depot or something and look at some paint samples and look around and maybe you will find something you like.

I haven't seen a Hollywood Themed bedroom. If you want the whole, surfing scene like, Laguna Beach, you can try Pottery Barn Teen, catalog or website, (www.pbteen.com). They have very themed bedrooms, but tend to be a little pricey. There are wall murals with tiki huts and surfboards, and of course, the ocean. This is probably not what you want though. If you want your walls painted Hollywood themed, try the Yellow Pages to look for an artist who decorates walls. They will probably paint almost anything for you. My family hired an artist to paint our walls, and so now our bathroom has fishes all over, and my ceiling is clouds. Try it out, and good luck!

You can try party supply stores for some items. Also try Yahoo Auctions and eBay for Hollywood posters, lifesized celebrity standups, etc. I don't know where you live, but if it's in So Calif. you'd be able to go to Hollywood Blvd and buy to your heart's content, any and every souviner and other items! That's what I did for my Hollywood themed wedding in the Hlywd Hills. Good luck!

Rent some movies from the Hollywood period you're looking for-there are some great ones from glamourous women of their day-like Ava Gardner,Lana Turner,Marilyn Monroe...
You can get some wonderful "boudoir" inspiration!

If you have room, you can include a lighted mirror & dressing table. Use those round decorative bulbs to frame the mirror...like you'd see in a dressing room. Just watch out, they can get very hot.
You can find those bulbs practically anywhere.

it's easy to find old Hollywood movie posters and frame them, that would look nice.
also when I think Hollywood / actress, I think about art deco.
glass or mirror piecesof furniture.
