I'm 23 years old and in college so my life can be pretty hectic but lately it seems that even without the chaos I'm exhausted all of the time. I can get 8-11 hours of good sleep for 3 or 4 days in a row, yet getting up in the morning is still very difficult. Even once I'm up I just feel like my head is cloudy all day long. Sometimes I start to get random headaches that come and go which is strange because I don't get headaches often. Other than being tired I feel completely fine and everything else seems to be normal. Does anyone have any idea of what might cause random tiredness?

Maybe you should get your thyroid checked. I have a thyroid disease and believe me you get very tired. Also you said you had a cloudy head. Well I have multiple chemical allergies now. In fact I am of work because of it. I complained of tiredness and a cloudy feeling in my head plus much more. Look it up on the internet it is very informative.

You could be getting sleep, but it just isn't restful sleep. Could be anemia, have you had your iron checked? Could be anything from not eating right or not drinking enough water or any of a bunch of health problems. I would ask the doctor or at least if you aren't already taking a multivitamin start doing that - anything with a bunch of B in them will hopefully give you some more energy.

Could be anything. Any assortment of ailments. Then again, it could be nothing. Just too much partying, too much school work, not enough sleep or too much sleep. Best thing is to go see a doctor, better yet see several doctors, get a good reading. Good luck.
