As far as the Washington area goes, The idea was shot down a few weeks ago because the State refuses to help build a track, I think that is foolish, It would generate a lot of money for the state, It has been proven, One think about the northwest I am concerned with is the rain there...

I read somewhere that NASCAR doesn't have room in their schedule for another track. A new track being built only means that some drivers may show up occasionally.
We have a Rusty Wallace track here in Iowa (Motor Speedway), and if we see a NASCAR driver or two a year, we're considered lucky.

Nope. The three markets that NASCAR is trying to build a track in are: New York City, somewhere in the Northwest (Seattle area preffered), and Denver Colorado area.

Nascar should stick to the tracks they have and quit bothering small towns and states that don;t like Nascar racing. They should go to back to Rockingham and Darlington.

You can be assured if that rumor is true it won't be anything like Bristol. The NASCAR sponsors detest short track racing.
