My religion Islam hasn't taught me to hate anybody. Now i know that you would be surprised and would be like "Oh plz tell me about it" but seriously there in nothing of that sort in my religion. It is how the media has potrayed islam and now everybody thinks the same. I would give you an example here. When Prophet Mohammad pbuh migrated to madinah the first thing he did was sign a treaty of peace with the jews living outside madina. That is one such example to quote. Who would do that u tell me?

Absolutely not, neither did my parents. I was born into a Christian family, Congregationalist, but chose to become Pagan in my early 20's. So I have some experience in both areas, and neither one teaches hate.
My beliefs don't talk about tolerance, since that implies there is something that needs to be tolerated. I believe in acceptance. I accept that not everyone believes as I do and I accept that they have a right to their own views on religion and politics and anything else. Just keep in mind, acceptance does not mean agreement or approval.

While some of the pastors at churches I have attended taught some hate, Christ taught me not to hate, but to love and forgive.

No. In my religion, I learned that you can't say that you love God, whom you don't see and hate the people you see everyday. We are taught to love everyone as we love ourselves.

No, it's taught me to love my fellow humans and to help the ones who need it as much as I can; that it's not right to judge and condemn, that everyone is a valuable person; and that we should be stewards of the earth.

No. And it's TEACH, not taught.
I was taught to hate by people whose idea of entertainment was to bait and attack people who were in ANY way different from themselves.

I Trust in God. Not religion. Salvation, through the Blood of Jesus is what takes you to Heaven. Not some kind of religion. When Jesus saved me, He put Love in my heart for everybody.
