I really don't know if it is unbiblical.
The God day could have been millions of years long. Not 24 hours as some would have you believe.
I have no problem with evolution and creation.
I believe they are one and the same.
God is responsibe for creation.
How He did it, makes no never mind to me.

To reconcile Genesis and evolution is impossible! Genesis teaches and rightly so that God created the universe and all that is in it within 6 days. Evolution teaches all things came into being over millions of years. It can't be both.
Some take Psalm 90:4 - "For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by or like a watch in the night..." to argue when Genesis says six days it really means 6 thousand days... No! If it had been 6,000 days or 6 million years Genesis would have said that. Genesis gives credit to the Great majesty and glory of God. He is able to create the beginning of everything that we now see within 6 24 hour period of time; He not only started it but He continues to uphold it. God will keep things going until He returns to usher in a new heaven and new earth. It's time that man believe that. Many scientists believe in the biblical account of creation and therefore have a solid foundation from which their research and study can accurately progress.
To try and reconcile both evolution and creation is both naughty and insubordinate!

Sorry, but you will be dealing with people that think that they know better than you do, and will completely ignore the evidence. The "reconciliation" between Genesis and evolution is that Genesis was written thousands of years ago in a time when they couldn't have possibly known what DNA was, so for its time its rather accurate. Now that we have advanced a few thousand years, we know that Genesis can't be taken literally - it contradicts scientific reason. Its a metaphor - not a science report.
Forgot to mention: creationists distort the meaning of the word "theory" by not applying it in its scientific context - in science the word "theory" goes way beyond "a guess". We have the theory of gravity too - does that mean that there is no gravity? Of course not.

Evolution is certainty. The e book of Genesis is in many situations fantasy. yet, that would not advise a fairy tale. In Theology, fantasy ability a narrative approximately certainty, yet for which the small print won't be. So, the Adam and Eve tale, and introduction did not take place precisely as interior the Bible. the tale isn't historic. It does answer questions, and it extremely is significant from a Theological perspective, yet, it of course isn't "actual" historic previous. Adam, and Eve might have existed as actual people, yet, not the 1st people. possibly the oldest recorded Jews nevertheless. i've got faith in God, and that i settle for Evolution. The evidence for the two is overwhelming. So, whilst technology, and faith seem to conflict, we would desire to truly be taught precisely what is going on. as quickly as we do, we hit upon that there is actual no conflict in any respect.

Here's something I've wondered about. According to Genesis, the sun wasn't created until the fourth day. Yet regarding things created before that it does say, "the evening and the morning were the first day."
Some kind of day/night thing was going on but not necessarily a 24 revolution as we know it.
I don't have anything past high school education, but maybe somebody smarter than me can give this some thought.

Personally, I believe that the Bible and science match up. It's just that you have to view it from a different perspective.
Why can't evolution be real? They say God created the world in six days, but how do we know what a day is to him anyhow? Why couldn't God have created other beings to eventually shape into humans?
Think of it this way. Someone molds a clay jar out of clay. Someone scuplts something out of rock. They can say they made the clay jar or sculpture, but it's not like it's just "Poof!" God could make things 'poof', but he could also go with a different approach.
My idea, I suppose, is this: God works through science.

I remember hearing about some sort of theory where the seven days of creation were actually longer periods of time. It would kind of fit too, because the order of creation goes in the same order as evolution (heavens and earth, forming of the seasons, ocean creatures followed by land animals and finally humans).
I don't believe the theory, but hey, it's there.

Evolution isnt biblical because the bible says that the universe was made in 7 days, however god isnt bound by time so 7 days could have been 7 weeks, years, decasds, centuries, who knows. i like to believe that it was 7 days. but why i dont think that Evolution is bibical is because God said let there be light and there was light, let there be water and there was water, and then it tells us how man came around. he took the dirt from the ground and breathed the breth of life into and he was man, and for woman he took one of mans ribs and created woman. God didnt say let there be an atomic explosion to created everything for me, let the animals take form of a new creature. he said let there be birds to fill the sky and fish to fill the sea, let there be animals to roam the earth. and man to have control over it all. he took time to create us. it was not an accident.

Conservative Christians today are as scientifically ignorant as the historically obscure Semitic tribes of illiterate goat herders who created the Christian - Judaic - Islamic mythology thousands of years ago.
They reject the scientific method as a legitimate epistemology of human knowledge even though (as they demonstrate by their questions and answers in this forum) they understand science about as well as the German Nazis of WWII understood the Athabaskan language spoken by Navajos.
You frustration is understandable because it is hard to teach people who have chosen stupidity as a lifestyle and who will fight to the death to remain stupid.

The theory of Evolution contradicts the biblical account of the creation. How do we know that evolution is a fact? None of us were there at the creation of the world. I have faith that everything that is written in the bible happened and it makes more sense to me.
